How Cialis Works

Like Viagra, Cialis is known as a PDE-5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels that flow into the penis. When more blood flows, a satisfactory erection is achieved.  Men need to be sexually aroused to get an adequate erection. Cialis is available as daily 2.5 or 5mg tablets for sexually active men. It also comes in 10mg or 20mg pills taken when needed.

Each tablet also contains microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, hypromellose, triacetin, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172) & talc.
