  • Private Flu Vaccinations: Available from mid-September 2025

  • NHS Flu Vaccinations:

    • Pregnant women: Available from mid-September 2025

    • All other eligible NHS groups: Available from early October 2025, in line with NHS England’s phased rollout

We will also be offering the COVID-19 autumn booster for eligible patients. This must be booked via the NHS website or by calling 119. COVID-19 and flu vaccines may be administered during the same appointment if stock and eligibility align.

Why Get a Flu Vaccine?

The flu vaccine helps protect against the most prevalent strains circulating this winter. It significantly reduces the risk of severe illness, hospitalisation, and complications, especially among high-risk groups. Vaccinating also helps reduce pressure on NHS services during peak winter months.

Vaccination helps protect:

  • You – from flu-related illness and time off work

  • Elderly individuals and those with chronic health conditions

  • Pregnant women and their unborn babies

  • Children and household contacts who may be at higher risk

Private Flu Vaccinations (2025–2026)

If you’re not eligible for an NHS flu jab, or prefer early access, our private flu vaccination service is ideal.

Why choose our private service?

  • Available earlier than the NHS campaign

  • Suitable for professionals, frequent travellers, and carers

  • Delivered by trained pharmacists in a private clinical setting

  • Competitive pricing – please call for details

NHS Flu Vaccination Eligibility (2025–2026)

NHS flu vaccines are free for eligible groups. Based on NHS England guidance, this includes:

  • All adults aged 65 and over

  • Adults aged 18 to 64 with certain long-term health conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease)

  • Pregnant women (available from September)

  • Health and social care workers

  • Carers and household contacts of immunocompromised individuals

  • Children aged 2 or 3 years (via GP) and school-aged children (via school-based programmes)

  • Potential inclusion: 50–64 year olds (subject to final confirmation by NHS England)

Please check with us in September 2025 for updated eligibility details.

Who Should Delay or Avoid the Flu Vaccine?

You may need to delay your flu jab if you:

  • Are currently unwell with a high fever

  • Have had a previous severe allergic reaction to a flu vaccine or its components (such as egg protein) – please speak with our pharmacist for guidance
